Prototype TopicSpaces Knowledge Garden (topic map) platform: http://www.topicspaces.org:8080/wiki/ which runs on a very slow DSL line (be kind to it and don't let it get to Google), which includes Tagomizer (social bookmarking), Open Questions (issue mapping), and several other experimental applications, some of which are not fully wired--think: work very much in progress. The wiki platform is really the map itself; applications provide views into the map specific to domain needs.

An Experiment

Transcluding tags from TopicSpaces for the tag GENIS:Source, which relates to energy sources. Note that links above each bookmark point directly to the Web resource; other links point into TopicSpaces itself. This mashup is implemented as an HTML iframe, so, clicking on a link will open within the iframe itself (and look rather ugly).

Hey, Jack, I want to thank you for the pointers to Deki Wiki and TiddlyWiki, both unknown to me, which have proved extremely useful. You've really been a fountain of GSm enthusiasm and effort. Glad you jumped on the idea of a bibilography; that's been on my todo list. Now I need to find time to investigate TopicSpaces and the Knowledge Garden (a beautiful metaphor). (Note: If you click on the Deki Wiki help button you to go http://wiki.opengarden.org/Wik.is. On the forum there, the experts are known as Gardners and the lay people Garden Gnomes. Very cute.)
